1 Park Point Nears Completion In Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn

Construction is nearing completion on 1 Park Point, a 13-story residential building in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by JEMB Realty, the 145-foot-tall structure will span 395,726 square feet and yield 375 rental units with an average scope of 798 square feet, 25 percent of which will be dedicated to affordable housing, as well as 5,388 square feet of retail space, 18,850 square feet of community space, a cellar level, and 106 enclosed parking spaces. INC Architecture & Design is the interior designer and Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor for the property, which was formerly addressed as 11 Ocean Parkway and is located on Machate Circle at the southwestern corner of Prospect Park, bound by Ocean Parkway, Coney Island Avenue, and Caton Place.

Demolition Nears Completion At 275 Atlantic Avenue in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn

Demolition is nearing completion at 275 Atlantic Avenue, the site of a 15-story jail complex in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. Designed by HOK and developed by the NYC Department of Design and Construction, the 339-foot-tall structure will span 712,150 square feet with a capacity of 1,040 inmates, as well as 30,000 square feet of community facility space, two cellar levels, two loading berths, 100 enclosed parking spaces, and an underground tunnel connecting to the adjacent courthouse. Northstar Contracting Group Inc. is the general contractor for the project, which will replace the defunct Brooklyn Detention Complex bound by Atlantic Avenue, Boerum Place, and Smith and State Streets.

Housing Lottery Launches for 238 East 52nd Street in East Flatbush, Brooklyn

Designed by Djlu Architects and developed by Happy Living Development, the structure yields nine residences. 456-Unit Building Tops Out at 1057 Atlantic Avenue in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn

Construction has topped out on 1057 Atlantic Avenue, a 17-story residential building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Designed by dencityworks and developed by Douglaston Development, the sprawling 474,000-square-foot structure will yield 456 rental apartments in studio to three-bedroom layouts, with 137 units reserved for affordable housing, as well as 35,000 square feet of amenities and 31,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Levine Builders is the general contractor for the $320 million project, which was formerly addressed as 1045 Atlantic Avenue and is located between Classon and Franklin Avenues.

Designed by Jay Architect & Engineering, the 80-foot-tall structure will span 35,513 square feet and yield 53 units, as well as 14 enclosed and seven open parking spaces. The permit is a post-approval amendment to a filing made early 2022 that was approved under the New York City 421A permitting program, which expired in June 2022. This amendment allows the site to maintain its 421A tax exemption. David Goldberger is listed as the owner of the property, which is located at the corner of Liberty Avenue and Berriman Street.
