In an exclusive reveal, new renderings from ODA offer a first look at The Collective’s forthcoming New York City flagship in North Brooklyn. Located at 555 Broadway on the border of South Williamsburg and Broadway Triangle, the building will top out at 28 stories and contain a mix of rental apartments, short-stay rooms, shared office space, retail, community facilities, and a collection of amenity spaces.

The affordable housing lottery is open for Fulton Street Apartments, two four-story mixed-use buildings developed by Aron Schwartz in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. 2741 Fulton Street is designed by Diego Aguilera Architects. The ten-unit building will yield 11,233 square feet with three units designated as affordable housing. Available on NYC Housing Connect is a one-bedroom and two two-bedroom units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $66,858 to $159,640. 2746 Fulton Street is designed by Studio Gallos. The nine-unit building will yield 9,409 square feet with one unit designated as affordable housing. Available on NYC Housing Connect is one two-bedroom units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $82,286 to $159,640.

Friday Housing Lottery Round-Up: Closings Imminent For Two Buildings in Brooklyn and Queens

Today’s housing lottery round-up features two buildings with affordable units on Housing Connect with deadlines closing within the next seven days. Unfortunately, an update to the Housing Connect website this week has apparently left the system rather glitchy, as it now lists incorrect numbers of units remaining, and the photos and renderings have similarly become defunct, all in the midst of New York City’s worst housing crisis since the 1930s.

DOB Greenlights Bethany Terraces, Affordable Senior Housing in East Flatbush, Brooklyn

The Department of Buildings recently approved plans for Bethany Terraces, a four-story affordable senior housing development at 604 East 40th Street in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Developed by RiseBoro Community Partnership, which will operate the facility, and designed by Paul A. Castrucci Architects, the 39,200-square-foot project will be built to Passive House Standards.
