Foundation Work Underway On 22-Story, 252-Unit Mixed-Use Tower At 416 Kent Avenue, Williamsburg

Foundation work appears to be complete where a 22-story, 252-unit mixed-use building is under development at 416 Kent Avenue, in Williamsburg near the East River. The site can be seen thanks to photos posted to the YIMBY Forums. The tower will be connected by a common base with two other 22-story residential towers, located next door at 420 Kent Avenue. That site was cleared of commercial low-rises earlier this year.




802 Flushing Avenue

Eight-Story, 45-Key Hotel-Medical Office Project Filed At 802 Flushing Avenue, Bushwick

An anonymous Great Neck, N.Y.-based LLC has filed applications for an eight-story, mixed-use building at 802 Flushing Avenue, in eastern Bushwick. The project will measure 17,702 square feet and include 4,357 square feet of medical offices on the ground and second floors. The third through eighth floors will host a 45-key hotel. The rooms should average a budget-sized 228 square feet apiece. Haworth, N.J.-based T.F. Cusanelli & Filletti Architects is the architect of record.

Revealed: Four-Story, Four-Unit Condominium Project At 258 A 18th Street, South Slope

A rendering has been revealed of the four-story, four-unit residential building under development at 258 A 18th Street, in South Slope. The latest building permits indicate the project will measure 5,660 square feet. Its units, confirmed to be condominiums, should average 1,247 square feet apiece. Brooklyn-based firms Kora Developers and BK Developers are behind the project. Igor Zaslavskiy’s Brooklyn-based architecture firm Zproekt is the architect of record. The 2,504-square-foot site is currently occupied by a single-story garage, although demolition permits have not been filed. The Prospect Avenue stop on the R train is four blocks away.
