Back in September of 2016, YIMBY reported on permits filed for two new buildings coming to 127-129 Troutman Street, in western Bushwick. Now, we have the reveal for the project, which is being developed by Moshe Friedman and designed by Brooklyn-based BEAM Group.
Brooklyn-based developer Moshe Friedman has filed applications for a four-story, eight-unit residential project at 61 Troutman Street, in western Bushwick. The new building will measure 7,184 square feet and its residential units should average 685 square feet apiece, indicative of rental apartments. There will be two apartments per floor. Boaz Golani’s Brooklyn-based BEAM Architects is the architect of record. The 25-foot-wide, 2,500-square-foot lot is vacant.

The new building will measure 7,153 square feet and its residential units should average 685 square feet apiece, indicative of rental apartments. There will be two apartments on each floor. Shawn E. Stiles’s S&S Architectural Design, based in Warren County, N.J., is the architect of record. The 25-foot-wide, 2,500-square-foot lot is vacant.
Co-working firm Bond Collective is redeveloping the three-story, 30,000-square-foot commercial building at 839 Broadway, located on the corner of Park Street in western Bushwick, into office space. The structure will receive horizontal and vertical expansions totaling 5,000 square feet, Crain’s reported, as well as new façade elements, although it appears a portion of the original exterior will be retained. Completion is expected later this year or early next year. Alteration permits have not been filed with the Department of Buildings at this time and the identity of the architect is unclear. An anonymous Brooklyn-based LLC is the property owner.

The new building will measure 5,460 square feet and its full-floor residential units should average 1,070 square feet apiece, which means either condominiums or rentals could be in the works. Olabanji Awosika’s Jamaica-based firm is the architect of record. The 20-foot-wide, 1,950-square-foot lot is currently vacant.
