Located between Hillside Avenue and 90th Avenue, the interior lot is steps away from the Jamaica-179 Street subway station, serviced by the E and F trains. Palwinder Singh is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Back in July of 2015, YIMBY reported on applications for a new hotel at 88 Walker Street, on the southwestern edge of Chinatown. Now, work has begun on the site, and we have the reveal for the building that is about to replace the empty lot.
Teddi Li’s Iron City Construction has filed applications for a nine-story, 61-key hotel at 88 Walker Street, a vacant lot in western Chinatown. The building will measure a total 23,330 square feet and includes a 2,300 square-foot community facility on the ground floor. Forest Hills-based James Cheng, of Design 101, is the architect of record.
