1580 Nostrand Avenue Hits Market, Site Of Hello Living’s Planned 23-Story Ziggurat, Flatbush

Last summer, YIMBY reported on applications for a 23-story, 153-unit mixed-use building at 1580 Nostrand Avenue, in Flatbush, and then we revealed renderings of the project this past March. But developer Hello Living has now placed the site on the market for $28 million, according to the Daily News. The 173,546 square-foot structure has been approved by the DOB, and the site’s former single-story warehouse was demolished earlier this year.

Four-Story, Eight-Unit Redevelopment Planned At 280 Linden Boulevard, Flatbush

An anonymous LLC has filed applications for the redevelopment of a two-story townhouse into a four-story, eight-unit residential building at 280 Linden Boulevard, in northern Flatbush, two blocks from the 2/5 train’s stop at Church Avenue. The building will feature a fifth floor penthouse and will total 5,830 square feet, which means units will average 730 square feet. Woody Chen’s InFocus Design & Planning is the applicant of record.


950 Flatbush Avenue

950 Flatbush Avenue Being Redeveloped Into Six-Story, Nine-Unit Mixed-Use Building, Flatbush

Property owner Dror Skaf has filed applications to redevelop the existing three-story structure at 950 Flatbush Avenue, in northern Flatbush, into a six-story, nine-unit mixed-use building. The expanded building will measure 9,090 square feet in total, with 2,275 square feet designated for ground-floor retail space. The nine residential units, averaging 755 square feet, will be spread across the upper five levels. He Gin Lee Architect is the applicant of record.

Ash Management has filed applications to renovate and expand the low-rise building assemblage spanning 947-955 Flatbush Avenue and 2-10 Snyder Avenue, in northern Flatbush, into a single three-story, 34,820 square-foot commercial building. The final structure will have retail space on the ground floor and offices above. Gabriel Gingishvili’s MGM Creations is designing.
