141 Willoughby Street’s Core Rises Above Street Level in Downtown Brooklyn

The core has reached street level on 141 Willoughby Street, a 24-story mixed-use building in Downtown Brooklyn. The 400,000-square-foot structure is designed by Fogarty Finger with SLCE as the executive architect and developed by Savanna Real Estate, which just secured $264 million in construction financing for the project. The property will yield office and retail space and is located on a trapezoidal plot bound by Willoughby Street to the south, Gold Street to the west, and Flatbush Avenue Extension to the east.

Demolition is complete at 45-03 23rd Street, the site of a 544-foot-tall mixed-use skyscraper in Hunters PointQueens. Designed by Fogarty Finger and developed by Charney Companies and Tavros Capital under the Court Square 45th Avenue LLC, the 50-story structure will yield a mix of condominiums, commercial space, and communal space. The site is located along 23rd Street between Jackson Avenue and 45th Avenue, directly to the east of the elevated subway tracks of the 7 train.

Astoria West Tops Out at 30-77 Vernon Boulevard on Astoria’s Waterfront in Queens

Developers Cape Advisors and Pioneer Group announced this week that Astoria West has topped out in Astoria, Queens. Located at 30-77 Vernon Boulevard, the massive three-building development will comprise 2.5 acres of waterfront land with views of the Manhattan skyline over the East River. Fogarty Finger Architects is responsible for the architecture and design, which includes 522,000 square feet across the three structures with 534 rental residences and a vast range of amenities.
