Located between Bedford Avenue and Driggs Avenue, the lot is a short walk to the Bedford Avenue subway station, serviced by the L train. Gemini Rosemont, a Los Angeles-based developer known for its office portfolio, is listed as the owner behind the applications under the 171 North First Street LLC.
Construction has topped out at West 14th Street, aka 531 Sixth Avenue, a 13-story mixed-use residential building designed by ODA Architecture. Gemini Rosemont is developing the 145-foot-tall project, which is located at the corner of Sixth Avenue and West 14th Street at the northern end of Greenwich Village. Whitehall Interiors is incharge of interior design.

The site is right next to the 14th Street and Sixth Avenue subway station entrance, serviced by the 1, 2, 3, F, M, L and Path trains. Union Square is just two blocks away.
