YIMBY Scopes Views From ODA’s Recently Completed 809 Broadway in Greenwich Village

Construction has wrapped up at 809 Broadway in Greenwich Village, and tenants are steadily moving into the 15-story mixed-use building. The 41,000-square-foot, 200-foot-tall structure is designed by ODA Architecture and developed by 809 Broadway Holding, and is located on the west side of Broadway between 11th Street and 12th Street. Cushman & Wakefield is in charge of office leasing for the project and Ripco is handling retail leasing.

Construction on BKSK Architect’s 127 Leroy Street Nears Completion in the West Village

Construction is nearing completion on 127 Leroy Street, a nine-story residential building in the West Village. Designed by BKSK Architects and developed by Shibumi Development, the 124-foot-tall reinforced concrete structure topped out in early 2018 and the glass and stone curtain wall is now substantially complete, with only small portions on the top floors left to be enclosed. The site is bounded by Leroy Street, Washington Street, and Greenwich Street, and was formerly occupied by a one-story warehouse for Pat LaFrieda Meat Purveyors, which has since moved to North Bergen, New Jersey.

Excavation Underway For 12-Story Residential Building At 530 Sixth Avenue In Chelsea

Excavation is underway at 530 Sixth Avenue in Chelsea, in preparation for the construction of a 12-story residential building. Located at the corner of Sixth Avenue and West 14th Street, the 63,000-square-foot project is designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and is being developed by Landsea Homes and DNA Development, which purchased the property for $53 million from Extell in the fall of 2018.
