First Look At Six-Story, 15-Unit Residential Building Planned At 303 West 137th Street, Harlem

A schematic drawing has been revealed of the six-story, 15-unit residential building planned at 303 West 137th Street, in Harlem. Demolition is also underway on the site’s former three-story townhouse, Harlem+Bespoke reports. The project is technically an expansion of the existing building and the foundation will be retained. The project will have 14,324 square feet of residential space, which means the units should average 955 square feet apiece. ICER Real Estate is the developer and SRA Architecture + Engineering is the architect of record. Completion is expected in the first half of 2017.

Reveal For Four-Story, 45,200-Square-Foot Madison Square Boys & Girls Club At 250 Bradhurst Avenue, Harlem

Renderings have been revealed of the the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club, a four-story, 45,182-square-foot community facility planned at 250 Bradhurst Avenue, located on the corner of West 155th Street in Harlem. The facility, geared to children ages six through 18, will feature a production studios, a fitness center, educational spaces for tutoring and studying, a screening room, tech labs, and dining areas and lounges. The 60-foot-tall structure is designed by Rogers Partners. The 14,500-square-foot site is currently vacant, although it’s unclear when construction is expected to begin. YIMBY reported on the initial new building applications when they were filed in July.

Construction Wraps On Four-Story, Eight-Unit Residential Building At 173 Morningside Avenue, Harlem

Construction has topped out and is now wrapping up on the four-story, eight-unit residential project under development at 173 Morningside Avenue, located between West 126th and 127th streets in Harlem. The structure can be seen in a photo posted to Harlem+Bespoke. The latest building permits indicate the project measures 5,625 square feet. Its residential units should average 563 square feet apiece, indicative of rental apartments. Floral Park, N.Y.-based Tony Kohan is the property owner and Shahriar Afshari’s Roslyn, N.Y.-based architecture firm is the architect of record. Occupancy can probably be expected later this year.

Six-Story, 13-Unit Residential Project Tops Out At 15 West 119th Street, Harlem

Construction has topped out 60 feet above street level on the six-story, 13-unit residential project under development at 15 West 119th Street, in Harlem. The structure can be seen in a photo posted to Harlem+Bespoke. The latest building permits indicate the project measures 13,813 square feet. The residential units should average 824 square feet apiece, although it’s unclear whether they will be rentals or condominiums. Pielet Brothers Construction is the developer. Melamed Architect is the design architect, although Design + Urbanism Architectural is the current architect of record. Completion is expected next year.
