Façade work is nearing the parapet of 102 Charlton Street, a 21-story, 210-foot-tall residential building in Hudson Square. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Lalezarian Properties, which purchased the property in 2010 for $4 million, the property will yield 59,323 square feet and 61 apartments. 45 Park Place Awaits Resumption of Construction in Tribeca

Construction still appears stalled at 45 Park Place, a 667-foot-tall residential skyscraper in Tribeca. Designed by SOMA Architects with Ismael Leyva Architects as the executive and residential architect, the 43-story building has sat dormant since the end of 2019. The project, which is being developed by Sharif el-Gamal of Soho Properties with Piero Lissoni as the interior designer, is located between Church Street and West Broadway and sits just to the north of the border with the Financial District.

Demolition prep is underway at 15 Beekman Street, a 14-story structure in the Financial District. Located by the corner of Nassau and Beekman Streets directly across from Frank Gehry’s residential skyscraper at 8 Spruce Street, the site will eventually give rise to a 27-story mixed-use tower addressed as 126-132 Nassau Street. SL Green Realty is listed as the owner behind the applications for the future 338-foot-tall Pace University academic center and dormitory. Foundation work is approaching street level at Ismael Leyva Architects’ 606 West 30th Street, a 545-foot-tall mixed-use skyscraper on the border of West Chelsea and Hudson Yards. Developed by Lalezarian Properties, the tower is expected to yield 312,350 square feet, of which 192,780 will be dedicated to residential space and 14,240 for commercial use. The residential component will feature a mix of condominiums and rentals, but the exact breakdown of the inventory has not yet been made clear.
