The site is half a block from the 2 and 3 trains, and three blocks from the 125th Street train station serviced by Metro North. This is one of several substantial new buildings filed for the neighborhood, showing the economic revitalization of Harlem is far from over. The Jay Group is responsible for the development.

Construction Underway at 199 Montrose Avenue, Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Significant progress has been made on the construction of a six-story building at 199 Montrose Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The lot has been vacant for at least a decade, with proposals for other developments on record as early as 2008. It appears that foundation work has been started, with steel paneling raised to ground level. It does not look as though concrete has been poured yet.
