The Durst Organization has released the first renderings of a new public outdoor space at the base of Sven, the developer’s latest residential skyscraper at 29-37 41st Avenue in Long Island City. The half-acre space will debut as Sven Park and offers a new playground, dog runs, workout and parkour facilities, ping-pong tables, swinging benches, and stationary seating.
The first rendering has been released for 24-01 Queens Plaza North, a 19-story residential tower in Long Island City, Queens. Designed by ODA New York and developed by New Empire Corporation, the building will house more than 100 condominium units ranging from studios up to two-bedrooms. The amenity offerings will include a penthouse resident lounge, communal outdoor spaces, on-site parking, and a fitness center. The lower levels of the building will also house an unspecified commercial volume.

Located at the intersection of 34th Street and 37th Avenue, the lot is two blocks from the 36th Street subway station, serviced by the M and R trains. Jiashu Xu of United Construction & Development Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.
