Avison Young’s investment sales team has revealed new renderings of a 50,000-square-foot building on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The property’s address is listed as 176-178 Delancey Street, where two vacant low-rise structures are currently located.
Construction at 202 Broome Street is now topped out, marking a significant milestone for the Essex Crossing mega-development. Designed by CetraRuddy, the 14-story building will eventually contain 175,000 square feet of Class-A office space, 83 condominiums, and 34,500 square feet of retail.
Permits have been filed for a 30-story mixed-use building at 232 East Broadway on the Lower East Side, Manhattan. Located between Clinton Street and Montgomery Street, the lot is one block east of the East Broadway subway station, serviced by the F train. Round Square Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
One of the city’s largest-ever public murals will soon adorn The Rollins, one of nine buildings at the Essex Crossing mega-project on the Lower East Side. Brooklyn art duo ASVP was commissioned for the project following a borough-wide call for submissions from Delancey Street Associates, the development team responsible for Essex Crossing.
Permits have been filed for a 15-story residential building at 161 Broome Street on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Located between Clinton Street and Attorney Street, the lot is four blocks east of the Delancey Street-Essex Street subway station, serviced by the F, M, J, and Z trains. Grand Street Guild Housing Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
