Hyundai Motor America has acquired a three-story commercial building at 500 West 14th Street in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District with plans to expand its presence in New York City. The existing building features a nondescript brick façade and occupies an entire wedge-shaped block.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for Turin HDFC, a 19-story cooperative building at 609 Columbus Avenue on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Built in 1971, the structure yields 188 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 24 resale units for residents at 165 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $135,709 to $326,205.

Designed by architect Nicholas Kazalas and developed by Haussmann Development and Coltown Properties, the structure yields 27 rental units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are nine units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $107,658 to $198,250.
The renovation and expansion of a 19th century rowhouse at 1209 Park Avenue can now move forward following approvals by the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC).
The William Kaufman Organization and Sage have completed a $54 million renovation project at 767 Third Avenue, a high-rise office tower in Midtown East, Manhattan. The design team included FXCollaborative, the same architect that completed the tower in 1981, alongside Fogarty Finger.
