For the first time, Jean-Michel Basquiat’s family has organized a show of rare and never-before-seen works since the artist’s untimely death in 1988. Beefbar, an upscale, meat-focused restaurant will open its first U.S. location at 105 Hudson Street, a long-vacant retail space and former home of Nobu’s Tribeca outpost. The venture is the first collaboration between global restaurateur Riccardo Giraudi of Monaco and TriBeCa Hospitality, the sponsor of Beefbar’s restaurant.
