Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 64-10 Wetherole Street in Rego Park, Queens. Located between 63rd Drive and 64th Road, the through lot is a short walk to the 63rd Drive-Rego Park Station subway station, serviced by the E, M, and R trains. Tahoe Development under the 64-08-64-10 Wetherole Street LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
After a decade of new towers sprouting along the North Williamsburg waterfront, new residential construction in the area has begun to slow down over the past year, as the neighborhood just doesn’t have many development sites left. However, one builder managed to snag a lot at 106 North 3rd Street, between Wythe Avenue and Berry Street.
When we wrote about plans for 221 East 138th Street last summer, the developer hoped to include affordable housing in the new South Bronx apartment building. Now Anthony Gurino, of Tahoe Development, has decided to make the project in Mott Haven entirely market-rate, joining the ranks of a few other ambitious projects in this industrial neighborhood.
Nearly a decade in the making, a Williamsburg residential project is finally nearing the finish line. The 51-unit, seven-story development at 150 North 12th Street has topped out, as seen in photos sent to us by our friend Tectonic.
