Designed by S9 Architecture with SLCE Architects as the architect of record and developed by Jamestown, the $500 million project involves the full gut renovation and re-cladding of the 120-year-old, 395-foot-tall steel-framed structure, along with the addition of new LED displays and public viewing decks with platforms that will overlook the district. Turner Construction Company is the general contractor for the property, which is located on a trapezoidal plot bound by West 43rd Street to the north, West 42nd Street to the south, Broadway to the east, and Seventh Avenue to the west.

New renderings have been revealed for 350 Park Avenue, a proposed supertall office skyscraper in Midtown East, Manhattan. Designed by Norman Foster of Foster + Partners and developed by Ken Griffin, Vornado Realty Trust and Rudin, the 62-story structure is planned to rise roughly 1,600 feet tall and yield 1.8 million square feet of office space, with 54 percent to be occupied by the hedge fund Citadel LLC. The project site is bound by East 52nd Street to the north, East 51st Street to the south, and Park Avenue to the east.

Construction is rising on 32 West 48th Street, a 31-story hotel tower in Midtown, Manhattan’s Diamond District. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Extell, the 456-foot-tall structure will span 213,158 square feet and yield 534 guest rooms with an average scope of 316 square feet. AECOM Tishman is the general contractor for the project, which is located between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, directly south of Rockefeller Center, with a narrow annex extending south to West 47th Street.
