Curtain wall installation is moving along at 128 West 23rd Street, a 15-story residential building in Chelsea. Designed by Kutnicki Bernstein Architects and developed by Valyrian Capital and Pan Brothers, the reinforced concrete edifice is located on the southern side of the block between Sixth and Seventh Avenues and will yield 40,230 square feet of residential space split among 33 units. Homes are expected to average 1,200 square feet apiece.

Façade installation is rapidly moving along at 140 West 24th Street, a topped-out, 416-foot-tall hotel tower in Chelsea. Designed by Gene Kaufman Architect and developed by Sam Chang, the 45-story reinforced concrete structure will yield 142,949 square feet. Omnibuild is in charge of the construction process on the project, which is located between Sixth and Seventh Avenues.

Construction is several stories above street level and rising at 450 Eleventh Avenue, a 487-foot-tall, 531-room hotel from Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide in Hudson Yards. Designed by DSM Design Group and developed by Marx Development Group, the 43-story tower is one of several new high-rise projects ascending to the north of Related Companies‘ first phase of Hudson Yards, across from the Jacob K. Javits Center. The boom in construction is gradually transforming this previously underdeveloped area of Midtown West into a thriving mixed-use destination.
