Eight-Story, 26-Unit Residential Building Filed At 1251 East 19th Street, Midwood

Midwood-based BWH Construction has filed applications for an eight-story, 26-unit residential building at 1251 East 19th Street, in Midwood, three blocks from the Q train’s Avenue M stop. The building will measure 31,895 square feet, which means units will average 1,227 square feet apiece, possibly making for condominiums. Felix Pustylnik is the applicant of record. The 2.5-story home at 1251 East 19th Street was demolished over the past month, but demolition has not yet begun at the three-story residential building spanning Nos. 1943-1947.

Two-Story Expansion Planned For Commercial Building At 1630 East 15th Street, Midwood

Infinity Real Estate plans to add two floors to the three-story, 160,000 square-foot mixed-use commercial building at 1630 East 15th Street, next to the Kings Highway stop on the B and Q lines in Midwood. According to Commercial Observer, the 60,000 square-foot office expansion is being designed by Zyscovich Architects. The building is currently 100 percent leased, and was acquired by the current owners in 2014.

Five-Story, 33-Unit Rental Building At 447 Avenue P Slated For Condo Conversion, Midwood

Time Equities plans to convert The Venetian, a five-story, 33-unit rental building at 447 Avenue P in the southwestern corner of Midwood, into condominiums. The developer acquired the building in December of 2014 for $27 million, just two years after the project opened in 2012. The building, located a block away from the Avenue P stop on the F line, also has 8,000 square feet of ground-floor retail.
