Construction has risen past the podium section at One Bell Slip, a 368-foot-tall residential tower in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by Handel Architects and developed by Brookfield Property Partners and Park Tower Group, the 31-story building will bring 413 units to the 22-acre, ten-tower Greenpoint Landing riverfront development. The structure is rising just to the north of the completed 37 Blue Slip.
Construction has officially topped out at Betances Residences, a Passive House senior housing development at 443 East 142nd Street in the Mott Haven section of the South Bronx. The project is designed by COOKFOX and is the seventh building in the borough developed by supportive housing provider Breaking Ground.
Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 1193 44th Street in Borough Park, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of 12th Avenue and 44th Street, the corner lot is one block from the Fort Hamilton Parkway subway station, serviced by the D train. Zalmen Reiss of Z. Reiss is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Construction is above street level at 221 West Street, a pair of 30- and 40-story residential towers in the Greenpoint Landing development in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Known as “Greenpoint Block D,” this phase of the the 22-acre riverfront master plan is designed by OMA and is being developed by Brookfield Property Partners and Park Tower Group, which broke ground on the site back in November 2019. Beyer Blinder Belle is the architect of record for the planned 350- and 451 -foot tall towers.
Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 538 Hudson Street in Manhattan’s West Village. Located at the intersection of Charles Street and Hudson Street, the corner lot is a ten-minute walk to the West 4 Street-Washington Square subway station, serviced by the A, B, C, D, E, F, and M trains. Cayre Investments under the 540 Hudson Street LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
