The reinforced concrete edifice is located at the northern corner of 44th Drive and 23rd Street and is slated to yield a total of 20 units, 2,600 square feet of retail space, and 361 square feet of community facilities.

27-49 Jackson Avenue Remains Stalled In Long Island City, Queens

YIMBY passed by the site of 27-49 Jackson Avenue in Long Island CityQueens, which is supposed to be a 146-foot-tall residential building. However construction progress remains paused around the halfway mark. The 4,000-square-foot site rests among a number of taller surrounding skyscrapers and would be a modest addition to the neighborhood. Designed by Raymond Chan Architect and developed by ARCFE, work started nearly two years ago and is planned to, hopefully, top out as a 14-story superstructure with 9,873 of residential space split among 37 homes. iX Construction is the general contractor.

Construction is complete and tenants have begun moving into The Kent House, a seven-story mixed-use building at 187 Kent Avenue in WilliamsburgBrooklyn. Located between North 3rd Avenue and Metropolitan Avenue, the project is designed by Diego Aguilera Architects P.C. and developed by CW Realty Management, which purchased the site for $43 million. The 140,036-square-foot structure contains 96 homes.

One Bell Slip Starts to Rise in North Brooklyn’s Greenpoint Landing

Construction has risen past the podium section at One Bell Slip, a 368-foot-tall residential tower in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by Handel Architects and developed by Brookfield Property Partners and Park Tower Group, the 31-story building will bring 413 units to the 22-acre, ten-tower Greenpoint Landing riverfront development. The structure is rising just to the north of the completed 37 Blue Slip.
