Three Hudson Boulevard Remains On Hold in Hudson Yards, Manhattan

Rounding out our Turkey Week rundown of stalled projects is Three Hudson Boulevard, a planned 56-story commercial skyscraper in the Hudson Yards district. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by Boston Properties and The Moinian Group, the $3 billion project is planned to stand around 940 feet tall and yield 1.86 million square feet of office space, but has been on hold since early 2020. The plot occupies a full block bound by West 35th Street to the north, West 34th Street to the south, Bella Abzug Park to the east, and Eleventh Avenue to the west.

Empire State Dairy Expansion Kicks Off at 2840 Atlantic Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn

Work has begun on the expansion and redevelopment of the historic Empire State Dairy Company Building at 2840 Atlantic Avenue in East New York. Designed by Dattner Architects and developed by The Moinian Group and Bushburg, the project involves the partial gutting of the existing low-rise building to support a 14-story tower with 320 residential units, 12,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, and a new charter school. The entire property will comprise 370,000 square feet.

Excavation Begins for 220 Eleventh Avenue in West Chelsea, Manhattan

Work is progressing below grade for the Hudson Arts Building, a ten-story commercial structure at 220 Eleventh Avenue in West Chelsea. Designed by STUDIOS Architecture and developed by The Moinian Group, the project is located along Eleventh Avenue between West 25th Street and West 26th Streets. 220 Eleventh, LLC is the owner, AECOM Tishman is the general contractor, and JLL is the exclusive leasing agent for the Midtown, Manhattan property.

Three Hudson Boulevard Set for Vertical Ascent in Hudson Yards

Construction is set to rise at Three Hudson Boulevard, a planned $3 billion office skyscraper designed by FXCollaborative for both Boston Properties and The Moinian Group. The 56-story Hudson Yards development is expected to culminate with a roof parapet of around 940 feet and yield a total of 1.86 million square feet. The interiors will feature column-free floor plates, private outdoor terraces for select suites, and prime views of the Manhattan skyline, Hudson Yards, and the nearby Hudson River.
