Property owner Wei Chen has filed applications for a four-story, four-unit mixed-use building at 37-60 103rd Street, in North Corona, located two blocks from the 103rd Street – Corona Plaza stop on the 7 train. The project will measure 7,299 square feet in its entirety, 3,709 square feet of which will be residential space for two duplex units. Retail space will measure 1,479 square feet on the ground floor. Robert Lin’s Flushing-based A&T Engineering is the applicant of record. An existing two-story townhouse must first be demolished.

Yong Kang Lin, doing business as Corona Manor Realty LLC, has filed applications for two four-story, seven-unit residential buildings at 108-15 – 108-17 37th Avenue, in North Corona, located five blocks from the 111th Street stop on the 7 train. Each structure will measure 5,220 square feet on a 23-foot wide lot, which means units will average 746 square feet apiece and will probably be rentals. Maspeth-based Angelo Ng + Anthony Ng Architects Studio is the applicant of record. The two existing two-family houses were filed for demolition back in August.

Property owner Shan Lin has received permits to build two, three-story residential buildings at 37-17 – 37-21 98th Street, in North Corona, three blocks from the Junction Boulevard stop on the 7 train. Each will measure 4,071 square feet and boast two relatively large units. One unit will occupy the ground floor of each structure, while the second unit will span the second and third levels. Robert Lin’s Flushing-based A&T Engineering is the applicant of record. Each lot’s former two-story wood-framed house was demolished this past summer.

The building will measure 6,225 square feet, which means units will average 890 square feet apiece. Flushing-based Chang Hwa Tan is the architect of record, and the existing 1.5-story home was filed for demolition this past July.
