Three-Story, Three-Unit Mixed-Use Building Filed At 102-05 Roosevelt Avenue, North Corona

In February, applications were filed for a two-story commercial building at 102-05 Roosevelt Avenue, in North Corona, and now new building applications call for a three-story, three-unit mixed-use building. The building will measure a total 4,930 square feet, which includes  2,465 square feet of ground-floor retail. Long Island-based Issa Khorasanchi is the applicant of record, and Hector Burgos is the property owner. An existing single-story retail building must first be demolished.


35-39 101st Street

Three Stories, Six Residential Units Coming To 35-39 101st Street, North Corona

In addition to seven new building applications filed on Monday for two-family residential projects in eastern Queens, stretching from Flushing to JFK, one developer is planning a denser development at 35-39 101st Street, in North Corona, a few blocks north of the 103rd St – Corona Plaza stop on the 7 train. Patricio Lopez is planning six residential units across two three-story buildings. The residential units, averaging 1,027 square feet, will be split evenly between the two buildings. Suresh Manchanda’s L&C Associates is the applicant of record. Demolition permits were filed in June to remove the existing two-story, single-family home.


111-15 41st Avenue

Eight Residential Units Headed For 111-15 41st Avenue, North Corona

Property owner Dimitrios Kourpas has filed applications for two four-story, four-unit residential buildings spanning 111-13 – 111-15 41st Avenue, in North Corona. The total of eight residential units will divide nearly 6,900 square feet; Frank Petruso is designing. A single-story garage was demolished in 2013, but an existing 2.5-story structure at No. 111-15 must first be removed.
