173-175 Chrystie Street Progresses Behind Scaffolding on Manhattan’s Lower East Side

Work is progressing behind scaffolding on 173-175 Chrsytie Street, a topped-out ten-story residential building on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Designed by ODA Architects and developed by Nexus Building Development Group, Inc., the 25,500-square-foot-structure will yield 13 units ranging from two- to three-bedroom layouts, as well as 1,537 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The structure stands opposite Sara D. Roosevelt Park and immediately to the north of two other current residential buildings from the same design and development team, 167 Chrystie Street and 165 Chrystie Street.

167 Chrystie Street Approaches Completion on Manhattan’s Lower East Side

Exterior work is nearing completion on 167 Chrystie Street, a 16-story residential building on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Designed by ODA Architects, the 77,000-square-foot, 170-foot-tall structure will yield 78 units, averaging 680 square feet apiece, as well as 4,600 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Permits were filed by the Arava Group in August 2018 and Be-Aviv and Nexus Building Development Group, Inc. are developing the project, which is located between Rivington Street to the north and Delancey Street to the south. Sara D. Roosevelt Park lies across Chrystie Street to the east.

Construction is wrapping up on Étage, a ten-story residential project at 176 East 82nd Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Alternately addressed as 1444 Third Avenue, the 25,300-square-foot building is designed by ODA and developed by Nexus Development and will yield 1,822 square feet of ground-floor retail space and nine units spread across 22,219 square feet of residential area. Each will have four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The property is located at the corner of Third Avenue and East 82nd Street.

Exterior Work Continues on 212 West 93rd Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

Exterior work is progressing on 212 West 93rd Street, a 14-story condominium building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Located between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenues, the 65,000-square-foot project is designed by Eran Chen, head of ODA, and developed by Landsea Homes and Leyton Properties, which acquired the 9,000-square-foot plot from the Shaare Zedek Congregation for $34.3 million. It was last reported that the property will yield 20 units designed by GRADE New York and marketed by The Lindsey Stokes Team, a division of real estate brokerage Compass.

Designed by ODA New York and developed by Gemini Rosemont, the property sits at the corner of West 14th Street and Sixth Avenue and will yield 44 condominium units as well as 5,830 square feet of ground-floor retail space for two tenants. Sales have launched for the homes, which are being marketed by Nestseekers International’s Serhant Team and are expected to start at $1.35 million for one-bedroom units.
