Twin Two-Story, Two-Family Houses Coming to 15-22 Murray Street, Whitestone

Whitestone-based FMC Equities has filed applications for twin two-story, two-family houses at 15-22 and 15-24 Murray Street, in Whitestone. The new buildings will measure 3,162 square feet each. Across both, the apartments should average 874 square feet apiece and will be able to accommodate families. There will be a total of four off-street parking spaces, two of which will be located in the cellars of the buildings. Whitestone-based Platonic Solids Architecture is the architect of record. The 7,000-square-foot lot is occupied by a two-story house. Demolition permits were filed earlier this month.

A seven-story development is slated to rise at 37-21 32nd Street in Dutch Kills, in northeast Long Island City. The mixed-use project is one of several that are rapidly transforming the former industrial neighborhood. The 105,394-square-foot structure would occupy almost the entirety of the through-block lot, which stretches northwest-southeast between 32nd and 33rd streets.

Five-Story, 10-Unit Mixed-Use Building Filed at 52-22 Roosevelt Avenue, Woodside

An anonymous Glen Head, N.Y.-based LLC has filed applications for a five-story, 10-unit mixed-use building at 52-22 Roosevelt Avenue, located on the corner of 53rd Street in Woodside. The project will measure 25,063 square feet and rise 55 feet to its roof. There will be 3,062 square feet of ground-floor retail space, followed by 4,538 square feet of medical office space on the second floor. The residential units will spread across the third through fifth floors, averaging 1,060 square feet apiece. Chinatown-based Z Architecture is the architect of record. The 4,908-square-foot lot is occupied by three-story building. Demolition permits have not been filed.
