Scaffolding Removal Underway at 19-Story, 60-Unit 153 Remsen Street, Brooklyn Heights

It’s been a little over four months since we checked in on the construction at 153 Remsen Street, in Brooklyn Heights. Now, scaffolding removal is underway at the 19-story, 60-unit building between Clinton and Court streets. The progress can be seen thanks to a photo sent to YIMBY by prolific construction chronicler Tectonic. Quinlan Development and Lonicera Partners are the developers. Navid Maqami’s S9 Architecture is responsible for the design.

Mixed-Use 117 Livingston Street Reaches Second Floor, DoBro

It was back in September of 2014 that YIMBY brought you word of plans for a 21-story mixed-use building at corner of Livingston Street, Boerum Place, and Red Hook Lane in Downton Brooklyn. It was in April of 2015 that demolition started and in June of 2015 that we showed you a rendering. Now, thanks to photos from our friend Tectonic, we can report that the project at 117 Livingston Street (a.k.a. 415 Red Hook Lane) has reached its second story.

Construction Update: 153 Remsen Street Reaches For Fourth Floor in Brooklyn Heights

It was back in May of 2014 that YIMBY brought you work of permits being filed for a 60-unit mixed-use development at 153 Remsen Street, between Clinton Street and Court Street in Brooklyn Heights. In July of 2015, we reported that excavation and piling work had begun. Since then the building has reached about four floors, as seen in photos from our friend Tectonic. We also have a better look at the design of the overall structure.

Construction Update: Cladding On At One Vandam, Soho

SoHo’s One Vandam topped out over a year ago, but now looks like a building nearing the finish line. Quinlan Development’s 160-foot-tall mixed-use building has cladding on its façade, as seen in photos posted by Tectonic. The building will 25 residential units spread across 60,642 square feet, making for a spacious average size of about 2,425 square feet. The 14-story building will also have 8,640 square feet of commercial space. BKSK Architects designed the building.
