Financial support has been acquired for the construction of a new Midtown development, putting verticality one step closer to reality. 611 West 56th Street will rise 35 floors above the far end of Midtown’s Billionaire’s Row. Just a block away from West 57th Street, the project is another step in the redevelopment of the long-forlorn area. It will join new buildings like Via at 625 West 57th Street, the rising towers of Waterline Square, and The Max, a nearly complete mega-development on the same block. Sumaida + Khurana and LENY are responsible for the development.

New Rendering for 19 Dutch as Completion Nears, Financial District

Progress on the 64-story 19 Dutch is moving quickly toward completion, with the development gearing up for the start of leasing in the next few months. The residential project has already seen the completion of the majority of its façade, with only the area under the exterior hoist remaining to be filled-in. City Hall Park’s Development Boom In Full Swing as Both 25 Park Row and 1 Beekman Street Now Rising, Financial District

Construction is moving along quickly for two new towers on City Hall Park. The park is one of just three major public outdoor areas in the Financial District, making any development around it particularly important. The buildings photographed for this article are 25 Park Row and 1 Beekman Street, which will add a combined 142 new condominiums and nearly 67,000 square feet of commercial space to the neighborhood.

The building, located in the heart of the Financial District, has made incredible progress, with the façade now complete save for windows connected to the exterior hoist.
