The two-towered structure at 565 Broome Street will add 115 condominiums to the neighborhood, making it a substantial addition for the market. The North Penthouse recently sold for a whopping $40.5 million, while the $30 million Southern Penthouse is still on the market. A new proposal to the New York Landmarks Preservation Commission has come forward to expand 53 Mercer Street into the new SoHo headquarters and retail center for Dolce Vita. The design would refabricate the historic look of the three-story SoHo row house, while adding two extra flights out of pedestrian view. DXA Studio is responsible for the architecture.
