A new office building designed by Morris Adjmi Architects could soon rise at 430 West Broadway, in SoHo, pending approval from the Landmarks Preservation Commission. The design and development team will present the proposed renovation and expansion project to the LPC later today.
150 Wooster Street has reached 100 percent occupancy following recent completion of the boutique condominium residences. The eight-story building contains five full-floor lofts and one duplex penthouse, comprising the top two floors and a private roof.
New renderings have been exclusively revealed to YIMBY for the transformation of 165 Mercer Street, in SoHo. The historic building was constructed between 1870 and 1871 under design by Henry Fernbach, and faithfully served the city as a parking garage since 1921. However, as we reported in September of 2016, the Landmarks Preservation Commission approved changes for the site to undergo a conversion to office and retail use, which will be accompanied by a new penthouse level, as well.
Permits have been filed for a 10-story mixed-use building at 219 Hudson Street, in SoHo. The site is two blocks away from two Canal Street Subway Stations, serviced collectively by the A, C, E, 1 and 2 trains. YIMBY last reported on the site in October 2015, when Joel Braver of Express Builders JB purchased the site for $13.2 million. The firm has retained ownership and will be responsible for development.
After our first look at Morris Adjmi’s submission to the Landmark Preservation Commission for 419 Broadway back in October, the SoHo building has been approved following a redesign. The accepted proposal has seen a height reduction, as well as a change to the bulkhead.
