45 Park Place Gets Ready to Rise, Tribeca

One block west of Downtown’s tallest residential building at 30 Park Place, another condominium tower is finally getting ready to rise. YIMBY reported on 45 Park Place’s initial building applications back in May of 2014, but it has taken three years to navigate both planning and financing. Now, foundation work is making headway, signaling the skyscraper should begin its ascent within the next few months.

111 Murray Street’s Facade Nearly Complete, Tribeca

In the southern bounds of Tribeca, to the southwest of the already-completed 56 Leonard, another major tower is nearing the finish line. 111 Murray Street has been topped-out for several months, and now its cladding is following, reaching about fifteen floors below the skyscraper’s pinnacle. Reveal for 50 Hudson Street, Vertical Expansion Coming to Tribeca

Yesterday, YIMBY reported on the first renderings to surface for the site at 540-544 Hudson Street, at the corner of Hudson and Charles in the West Village. Today, we have a look at another project a few dozen blocks to the south, at 50 Hudson Street. The site is located in Tribeca on the corner of Thomas Street, and the impending vertical addition will also have to receive Landmarks approval before construction can begin.
