Construction is wrapping up on 266 West 96th Street, a 23-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Fetner Properties, the 235-foot-tall structure yields 171 rental units with 68 dedicated to affordable housing, as well as 8,961 square feet of community facility space. Urban Atelier Group is the general contractor for the property, which is located on an interior lot between West End Avenue and Broadway.

The Rockwell Finishes Construction at 2688 Broadway On Manhattan’s Upper West Side

Construction is complete on The Rockwell, a 13-story residential building at 2688 Broadway on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Hill West Architects and Whitehall Interiors, and developed in collaboration by Toll Brothers, which also served as the general contractor, and Sculptor under the 2686-2690 Broadway LLC, the structure yields 81 condominium units in studio to three-bedroom layouts and ground-floor retail space that is slated to be occupied by a CVS Pharmacy. The property is located at the southeast corner of West 103rd Street and Broadway.

Anagram Finishes Construction at 1 West 60th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

Construction is wrapping up on Anagram, a 26-story residential tower at 1 West 60th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by INC Architecture & Design with SLCE Architects as the architect of record and developed by Global Holdings Management Group, the 281-foot-tall structure spans 180,813 square feet and yields 123 luxury market-rate rental units with interiors by The Setting, as well as 20,000 square feet of retail space on the first two levels. Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor and DeSimone Consulting Engineers is the façade consultant for the property, which is alternately addressed as 1841 Broadway and located at the corner of Broadway and West 60th Street, just north of Columbus Circle and the southwest corner of Central Park.

Governor Hochul Announces Three Nominations For State And National Registers Of Historic Places

Governor Kathy Hochul recently announced that three New York City properties have been recommended for historic recognition, highlighting their unique contributions to the city and state’s architectural and cultural heritage. The nominations are part of a broader initiative to preserve New York State’s history, and are three of 15 total properties across New York State that have been proposed for inclusion in the State and National Registers of Historic Places. All three nominations are located in Manhattan.

The New York City Landmark Preservation Commission is reviewing a proposal for renovation work on the Three Arts Club, an eight-story building at 340 West 85th Street on Manhattan‘s Upper West Side. Designed by Curtis + Ginsberg Architects, the project involves the construction of an ADA accessible ramp and stairway to the main entrance to the structure, which is owned by the West Side Federation and contains 125 single-occupancy senior supportive housing units for the formerly homeless.
