Closings will soon begin at 555 West End Avenue, a landmarked Beaux Arts building on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Following the conversion of the early 20th century structure for residential use, it now comprises 13 condominium homes.
Work is progressing on the glass and concrete crown atop 200 Amsterdam Avenue. The topped-out residential skyscraper stands 668 feet high above the Upper West Side and has secured the title of tallest structure in the neighborhood. The 51-story building is designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects and developed by SJP Properties. CetraRuddy is the lead interior designer for the 283,000-square-foot project.
The Ansche Chesed Synagogue on the Upper West Side of Manhattan will soon undergo major structural renovations to offer an enhanced experience for visitors with functional disabilities and compromised mobility. Designed by Studio ST Architects, the renovation will also expand and modernize the building’s aging facilities.
Full demolition permits have been filed for a couple of buildings at 1841 and 1845 Broadway on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Both sites are owned by Global Holdings Management Group, which filed building permits for a 24-story mixed-use building at the 1841 Broadway address last December.

Stern Architects with Hill West Architects as the architect of record, Alchemy Properties is the developer of the site, and Stribling Marketing Associates is managing sales for the building’s 31 condominiums, which average 2,700 square feet apiece. Sales are in partnership with Alchemy Properties and Stribling Marketing Associates.
