Construction is now underway at 1366 East New York Avenue, a 72-unit affordable housing project in Brownsville, Brooklyn. The project will debut as The Rise, and is being developed in partnership by Xenolith Partners, the Women’s Prison Association, and the Brownsville Partnership.
Two connected seven-story buildings with apartments and community facilities are coming to 630 and 632 East New York Avenue in East Flatbush, according to plans filed with the Department of Buildings yesterday.
A KFC franchise will likely bite the dust at the corner of Bushwick and Myrtle Avenues in Bushwick to make way for a six-story, mixed-use building. New building applications have been filed to erect a combination of apartments, retail and community facilities at 668 Bushwick Avenue.
