Collegiate School’s New 10-Story Building Tops Off at Riverside Center

The Collegiate School sold off its buildings on West 78th Street to its landmarked neighbor, the West End Collegiate Church, and now the new campus for the tony, all-boys educational institution is rising at 301 Freedom Place in the Riverside Center development. Eight Stories of Commercial and Community Facilities Headed for 347 Flushing Avenue in South Williamsburg

The Orthodox Jewish community on the border between Bed-Stuy and Williamsburg has learned to make the best of the area’s industrial zoning. Last week, South Williamsburg-based developer Joseph Brunner filed plans for an eight-story commercial and community facility building at 347 Flushing Avenue, just west of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and the Navy Yard.

Three New Townhouses Planned For 282-284 Patchen Avenue, Bedford-Stuyvesant

New construction has slowed down in eastern Bedford-Stuyvesant this year, but a few ambitious developers are heading out to less-established parts of the neighborhood despite uncertainty over the future of the 421-a tax break. Three townhouses are set to replace a large, aging wood-frame structure at 282-284 Patchen Avenue, between Bainbridge and Chauncey streets.
