After revealing the first rendering for the building, YIMBY reported on the summer ground-breaking of 472 Atlantic Avenue/465 Pacific Street, in Boerum Hill, and now The New York Times has a day-time image of the project, along with new details. Condominiums will come in one- to five-bedroom configurations, though the majority will be family-sized with three bedrooms, measuring roughly 1,400 square feet apiece. Stribling Marketing Associates is the broker, Avery Hall Investments and ARIA Development Group are developing, and Morris Adjmi Architects is designing, with completion currently anticipated for the winter of 2017.

David Frank, of Cityscape Build, has filed applications for a four-story, six-unit residential building at 1224-1226 41st Street, in northern Borough Park, four blocks from the Fort Hamilton Parkway stop on the D train. The building will measure 9,615 square feet in total, which means units will average 1,602 square feet apiece, indicative of condominiums. Rockland County-based Kenneth Thomas is the architect of record, and two existing two-story townhouses must first be demolished.


182 Jefferson Avenue

Four-Story, Eight-Unit Residential Building Coming To 182 Jefferson Street, Bushwick

Williamsburg-based BL Realty has filed applications for a four-story, eight-unit residential building at 182 Jefferson Street, in northern Bushwick, five blocks north of the M train’s stop at Central Avenue. The building will total 6,468 square feet, and units will average 809 square feet apiece, with a fourth floor residence that extends to a “fifth-floor” penthouse. Rego Park-based Diego Aguilera is the architect of record, and an existing recessed two-story house must first be demolished.

Four-Story, Eight-Unit Residential Building Planned At 5221 16th Avenue, Borough Park

Cityscape Build has filed applications for a four-story, eight-unit residential building at 5221 16th Avenue, in southern Borough Park, on the corner of 53rd Street. Located four blocks from the 55th Street stop on the D train, the building will measure 13,823 square feet, and units will average a condo-sized 1,728 square feet each. Rockland County-based Kenneth Thomas is the architect of record, and demolition permits for an existing building were filed this past summer.

Foundation Work Underway For 20-Story, 110-Unit Mixed-Use Building At 42-10 27th Street, Long Island City

Earlier this year, Curbed revealed a rendering of the 20-story, 110-unit mixed-use building planned at 42-10 27th Street, in Long Island City, and now foundation work is underway at the site, according to The Court Square Blog. The building will measure 90,153 square feet in total, and includes 8,645 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Apartments will start on the third floor and average 741 square feet apiece; recreational space will be located on the 19th and 20th floors. Great Neck-based Lions Group is developing, while Raymond Chan is designing, and completion is expected in early 2017.
