Development Site At 1800 Park Avenue Being Sold Off, East Harlem

Last Fall, YIMBY revealed renderings of the ODA-designed 32-story, 682-unit mixed-use building planned at 1800 Park Avenue, in East Harlem. Excavation is currently underway, but now its developer, Continuum Company, is planning to sell the development site, according to the New York Post. The property, located at the Harlem-125th Street stop on Metro North and the 4, 5 and 6 subways, is expected to go for $150 million. Current plans also include 80,000 square feet of retail space.



455 West 19th Street

11-Story, Nine-Unit Condo Building Planned At 455 West 19th Street, Chelsea

At 455 West 19th Street, in Chelsea, a single-story warehouse is expected to be redeveloped into an 11-story, nine-unit mixed-use building, according to Curbed. The building will measure 27,480 square feet in total, which will include 1,145 square feet of old warehouse space retained on the ground floor. Units will average a condo-sized 2,925 square feet. NYC Prince LLC is the developer, and Paik Architecture is the architect of record.


1177 Warburton Avenue

Three-Story, 55-Unit Residential Building Planned At 1177 Warburton Avenue, Yonkers

Ginsburg Development Companies is planning a three-story, 55-unit luxury residential building at 1177 Warburton Avenue, in northern Yonkers, a five-minute walk from the Greystone Metro North station. The developer requires approval from the Zoning Board of Appeals, and four single-family homes must first be demolished, according to Westfair Communications. Groundbreaking is expected in the Spring of 2016, with completion in 2017.


773 Hart Street

Four-Story, Eight-Unit Rental Building Coming To 773 Hart Street, Bushwick

Gregory Maidman, operating under an LLC, has filed applications for a four-story, eight-unit residential building at 773 Hart Street, in northern Bushwick, three blocks from the M train’s Central Avenue stop. The building will measure 5,410 square feet in total, which means units will average 675 square feet, typical of rentals. Meltzer/Coasta Associates is the architect of record, and the existing three-story, six-unit townhouse was filed for demolition in June.
