Reveal for Five Single-Family Townhouses Planned At 73-79 Bond Street, Boerum Hill

Last summer, YIMBY reported on new building applications for the vacant lots at 73-79 Bond Street, in Boerum Hill, where Adam America Real Estate is planning five single-family townhouses. Now, renderings of the project have been revealed by The New York Times. The townhouses will average 4,100 square feet over six floors, which include two below grade and four above grade levels. Ben Hansen is designing, and completion is expected by the end of 2016.

Tracking Large Developments and Affordable Housing in Crown Heights

Crown Heights has some of the fastest rising rents in all of Brooklyn. It’s gentrifying at a rate that merited two New York Times real estate section features in the last year, neither of which could resist mentioning riots that occurred 24 years ago. Four-Story, Eight-Unit Rental Building Coming To 378 Harman Street, Bushwick

Steven Goldschmied, of GPS Capital, has filed applications for a four-story, eight-unit residential building at 378 Harman Street, in northern Bushwick, two blocks from the Knickerbocker Avenue stop on the M train. The building will measure 5,410 square feet, which means units will average a rental-sized 675 square feet. Julien Flander is the applicant of record, and the lot is currently vacant.

Developers To Purchase Assemblage At 8-16 Nevins & 299 Livington Streets, Downtown Brooklyn

Adam America and Slate Property Group are in contract to acquire the connecting development sites spanning 8-16 Nevins Street and 299-301 Livingston Street, in Downtown Brooklyn, for more than $50 million. The assemblage reportedly boasts roughly 180,000 square feet in building potential. Demolition on the site’s existing low-rise buildings will continue once the transaction closes in the next few months.


97 Wythe Avenue

Updated Renderings Of Hoxton Hotel At 97 Wythe Avenue, Williamsburg

Earlier this week, YIMBY revealed the planned nine-story, 175-key Hoxton Hotel at 97 Wythe Avenue, in northern Williamsburg, and now the project’s designer, Perkins Eastman, sent along updated renderings showing slight tweaks in the façade. The 59,910 square-foot building will include some form of restaurant operations on the terraced second floor and the roof. Sydell Group is developing, and the site’s former single-story structure was demolished in late 2014.
