Michael Bauer of Borough Equities is listed as the owner behind the applications. According to the Bowery Boogie, the nonprofit New Life of New York City sold the property and the vacant lot next door for $8.7 million to Vault Development and TLM Equities in May.

76 Bowery Tops Out in Chinatown

76 Bowery Street recently topped out over Chinatown. The eight-story reinforced concrete structure sits in front of the entrance to the Manhattan Bridge between Canal Street and Hester Street. The new 85-foot-tall building is located within the “Dimond Center” of Chinatown, where a number of small jewelry shops line the busy streets. It is being designed by C3D Architecture and will include 14,488 square feet of office space. Titan Realty & Construction is the general contractor and is overseeing the build.
