Façade Work Progresses on 21-16 44th Drive’s Topped-Out Superstructure in Long Island City, Queens

Exterior work is shaping up on 21-16 44th Drive, an eight story mixed-use building in Long Island CityQueens. Alternately addressed as 21-18 44th Drive, the structure is designed by C3D Architecture and developed by Amsterdam Hospitality and will yield a mix of ground-floor retail space, 40 hotel rooms measuring around 250 square feet each, and 29 homes averaging just under 700 square feet apiece. The site is located along 44th Drive between 21st Street and 23rd Street.

Rendering Unveiled for C3D Architecture’s 618 Pavonia Avenue in Jersey City

Renderings have been released for the third and final phase of Namdar Group‘s three-tower, 777-unit mixed-use development in Journal SquareJersey City. Designed by C3D Architecture, 618 Pavonia Avenue will join the 20-story 26 Cottage Street and the 27-story 26-28 Van Reipen Avenue, all high rises connected by Homestead Plaza, a pedestrian plaza within walking distance of the PATH station. 618 Pavonia Avenue is set to rise 293 feet and 27 stories.

Sales Launch for Forkosh Development’s Hillrose28 in Rose Hill, Manhattan

Sales have launched for the 43 condominium units at Hillrose28, developed by Forkosh Development in Rose Hill, Manhattan. The limestone-clad 20-story residential building at 181 E 28th Street is designed by C3D Architecture and yields 66,125 square feet of space. Residences of the almost 200-foot-tall structure are designed by Lemay + Escobar D.P.C. and marketed by Corcoran Sunshine.

It appears that work is on hold at 21-16 44th Drive, aka 21-18 44th Drive, a mixed-use property in Long Island City, Queens. Construction only reached the sixth floor and still has two more levels to go before topping out. Designed by C3D Architecture and developed by Amsterdam Hospitality, the project is slated to yield a mix of ground-floor retail space, 40 hotel rooms measuring around 250 square feet each, and 29 homes averaging just under 700 square feet apiece. YIMBY last reported on the project in August 2015, when permits were filed for its construction.

Hillrose 28’s Façade Begins to Emerge at 157-161 East 28th Street in Kips Bay

The scaffolding and black netting that has shrouded Hillrose 28, aka 157-161 East 28th Street in the Manhattan neighborhood of Kips Bay, is coming down. The facade is finally being revealed, starting with the stepped upper floors and roof parapet. C3D Architecture is the project designer, Lemay + Escobar is the interior designer, and Forkosh Development is the developer of the topped-out, 191-foot-tall, 20-story property. Corcoran Sunshine is in charge of marketing and selling the 43 residential units, which comprises 66,125 square feet of space in the development.
