Redeemer East Side Tops Out at 150 East 91st Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Construction has topped out on Redeemer East Side, a new 12-story home for the Redeemer Presbyterian Church at 150 East 91st Street in the Carnegie Hill section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by STUDIOS Architecture, the 170-foot-tall structure will feature a fellowship hall with a capacity of 300, a 600-seat auditorium for worship and gatherings, 17 classrooms, and a catering kitchen. The Presbyterian organization acquired the property for $29.5 million in 2020 and will relocate to the new facility from its current address at 112 East 75th Street. Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor for the project, which is situated on a 50-foot-wide interior lot between Lexington and Third Avenues.

YIMBY Tours The Wales At 1295 Madison Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

YIMBY toured The Wales, a newly converted 11-story condominium building at 1295 Madison Avenue in the Carnegie Hill section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Developed and owned by Adellco, which purchased the site from LJ Real Estate Capital Partners in 2018 for $56.3 million, along with Parisian design studio PINTO, the historic building features a collection of 21 condominium units and accompanying amenity spaces. Form4 Design Studio and Higgins Quasebarth designed the renovations and upper two-story expansion, and Press Builders served as the general contractor for the property, which was formerly known as Hotel Wales and stands at the corner of Madison Avenue and East 92nd Street. Condominium closings commenced back in March with residences priced from $3.59 million to $21.5 million for the penthouse.

Construction and renovations are progressing on The Wellington, a historic six-story, 25,000-square-foot building at 1290 Madison Avenue in the Carnegie Hill section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Page Ayres Cowley Architecture, LLC for 1290 Madison LLC, the project involves the conversion of the interiors to yield ten condominium units spanning 21,600 square feet, the construction of a one-story addition above the parapet, the restoration of the Renaissance Revival façade, and modernization of the 3,600 square feet of ground-floor retail space. First Standard Construction is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of Madison Avenue and East 92nd Street.

Led by owner-developer Adellco alongside Parisian design studio PINTO, the building features 21 homes and a modest collection of amenity spaces. The property is located at the corner of 92nd Street and Madison Avenue.

Leeding Builders Group is the general contractor of the property, which is located between East 79th and East 80th Streets, a short walk from Central Park.

Construction is complete on 1228 Madison Avenue, a 20-story residential building in the Carnegie Hill section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects and developed by CBSK Ironstate, a partnership of CB Developers, SK Development, and Ironstate, the structure will yield 15 condominiums designed by Kelly Behun Studio with sales handled by Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group. SLCE Architects was the architect of record for the project, which is located along Madison Avenue between East 88th and 89th Streets, directly behind Frank Lloyd Wright’s Guggenheim Museum.
