CBRE has originated a $12.3 million loan to facilitate an extensive capital improvement and remediation project at River View Towers in Hamilton Heights, Manhattan. Located at 626 Riverside Drive near Riverside Park, the 24-story Mitchell Lama property was completed in 1964 and comprises 385 affordable cooperative units.
Tribeca Investment Group, Meadow Partners, and PGIM Real Estate have secured $150 million in construction financing to complete a commercial modernization project at 295 Fifth Avenue in Midtown, Manhattan. Construction recently completed on a penthouse addition, bringing the structure to 19 stories and 710,000 square feet.
Work is finishing up on West End Labs at 125 West End Avenue, an eight-story commercial building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Taconic Partners, Jaros, Baum & Bolles (JB&B), and Perkins+Will and developed by Taconic and Nuveen Real Estate, the project involves the full re-cladding of the structure’s exterior and conversion of its 400,000 square feet of interiors into a life sciences and research laboratory. CBRE is leading marketing and leasing and JRM Construction Management is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of West 66th Street and West End Avenue, a short walk from Riverside Park South.
400 Capital Management, a global credit asset manager, is the latest company to join 660 Fifth Avenue in Midtown, Manhattan. The company’s office will occupy more than 25,000 square feet on the building’s 27th floor beginning August 2024.
Construction is complete on 1245 Broadway, a 23-story commercial building in NoMad. Designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill and developed by GDSNY and Corem, the 318-foot-tall reinforced concrete structure yields 200,000 square feet of office space with marketing and leasing handled by CBRE. StructureTech NY and Triton Construction led construction on the property, which is located at the corner of West 31st Street and Broadway, a short walk from Koreatown, Herald Square, and Madison Square Park.
