YIMBY has reported on 200 Amsterdam Avenue extensively, revealing renderings back in 2016 and then covering the start of excavation in October. Since then, Extell’s 50 West 66th Street has upstaged it as the soon-to-be tallest on the Upper West Side, but SJP Properties’ 55-story and 669-foot-tall contribution to the skyline will still be extremely impressive in its own right. New Renderings for Supertall 45 Broad Street As More Machinery Appears On site

YIMBY last reported on 45 Broad Street when workers arrived and barrier installation began back in September. Now, we have a few fresh renderings for the tower, which also depict what the inside of the open-air mechanical floors will look like. The supertall borrows the technique from 432 Park Avenue, and combined with the intricate bronze exterior, the resulting tower could be one of the most attractive additions to the Lower Manhattan skyline in several decades.

But now, in the borough’s Bloomfield neighborhood on the far western side of the island, new job applications have been filed for an office building that will span just shy of 325,000 square feet, with a design by CetraRuddy Architects.
