Permits have been filed for a 19-story mixed-use building at 59 Henry Street in Two Bridges, Manhattan. Located between Catherine Street and Market Street, the interior lot is a few blocks west of the East Broadway subway station, serviced by the F train. W & L Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.
76 Bowery Street recently topped out over Chinatown. The eight-story reinforced concrete structure sits in front of the entrance to the Manhattan Bridge between Canal Street and Hester Street. The new 85-foot-tall building is located within the “Dimond Center” of Chinatown, where a number of small jewelry shops line the busy streets. It is being designed by C3D Architecture and will include 14,488 square feet of office space. Titan Realty & Construction is the general contractor and is overseeing the build.
Construction is moving along for 100 East Broadway, the 14-story office building coming to Chinatown, in Manhattan. Photos from Tectonic reveal the structure is just two floors away from the top.
Office development is a rarity across most neighborhoods in New York City, including Chinatown. But sometimes it still happens, and today, YIMBY has a comprehensive look at the updated design for 100 East Broadway, which also sits next to Pike and Division Streets. YIMBY posted an early design for the site back in 2015, but since then, changes have been substantial.
Back in 2014, YIMBY reported on job applications for a new development at 86 Delancey Street, on the Lower East Side. Preliminary renderings were released late last year, and now the first actual images of the building are out, which will rise 12 floors to its rooftop.
