The Jay Group has closed on a $92 million construction loan to complete an 18-story rental building at 401 West 207th Street in Inwood, Manhattan. Initial permits filed with the Department of Buildings in 2022 listed the address as 3880 Ninth Avenue and named JFA Architects & Engineers as architect of record.
The Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation (BNYDC) is seeking design and development partners to advance the transformation of its sprawling industrial complex. A request for proposals was circulated earlier this month and calls for initial conceptual designs for industrial and commercial properties at the waterfront convergence of Kent, Washington, and Railroad Avenues, near the northeastern edge of Brooklyn Navy Yard.
New Jersey developer Milton Fantin has revealed new interior renderings for Overlook Flats, a new mixed-use property in Jersey City. Located at 32 Oakland Avenue, the building is designed by Michels & Waldron Associates and comprises more than 58,000 square feet of office space, 297 rental units, tenant amenity spaces, and an 181-vehicle fully automated parking garage.
Hyundai Motor America has acquired a three-story commercial building at 500 West 14th Street in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District with plans to expand its presence in New York City. The existing building features a nondescript brick façade and occupies an entire wedge-shaped block.
Proposals to construct a nine-story mixed-use building at 712 Myrtle Avenue in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn are now under review by the Department of City Planning. Local developer Joel Berkowitz, doing business as 712 Myrtle Rezoning, LLC submitted the plans for approval along with an application for zoning map amendments that would permit the construction of a new residential property.
