Preliminary renderings have been revealed for 1045 Atlantic Avenue, a proposed 17-story mixed-use building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. The structure is planned to yield over 477,000 square feet of floor space with a mix of residential, retail, office space, and community facilities.
In a YIMBY exclusive, new renderings from Gerald Caliendo Architects offer a first look at a forthcoming residential property in Crotona Park East, The Bronx. The project is located at 1281 Hoe Avenue and will comprise roughly 28,500 square feet. Mark Shakarov is the current property owner and is listed as 1281 Hoe Avenue LLC on construction permits filed with the city’s Department of Buildings.
Construction is progressing on 8 Palmetto Street, a new seven-story mixed-use building in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Residential area is the building’s primary use type and will eventually yield 88 rental apartments. The project, also referred to as 1389 Broadway, is designed by GF55 Partners for private developer Erik Ekstein.
Leasing has officially launched at Two South Willow, a new rental property at 2 South Willow Street in downtown Montclair, New Jersey. Designed by Marchetto Higgins Stieve and Minno Wasko with interiors by Kara Mann Design, the six-story building yields 200 apartments ranging from studios up to two-bedroom accommodations. Each home features open living spaces, modern kitchens with stainless steel appliances, walk-in closets for many of the residences, and in-unit washer dryers. Select units will have a private terrace or balcony.
The Department of City Planning is now reviewing Environmental Impact Statements for a six-building expansion of Stevenson Commons in the Soundview section of The Bronx. Owned by Camber Property Group, the development site is located at White Plains Road and 1850 Lafayette Avenue and currently comprises nine Mitchell-Lama buildings spanning 990,050 square feet.
