Permits have been filed for a six-story community facility at 132-49 41^st Avenue, in Flushing, Queens. The site is four blocks away from the Main Street Subway Station, the last stop for the 7 Train in Queens. The surrounding area is a relatively dense commercial district compared to the rest of the borough, with the Queens’ Botanical Gardens located seven blocks south. Five blocks further is Flushing Meadows Corona Park. BDW Realty will be responsible for the development.

Permits Filed for 219 Hudson Street, SoHo

Permits have been filed for a 10-story mixed-use building at 219 Hudson Street, in SoHo. The site is two blocks away from two Canal Street Subway Stations, serviced collectively by the A, C, E, 1 and 2 trains. YIMBY last reported on the site in October 2015, when Joel Braver of Express Builders JB purchased the site for $13.2 million. The firm has retained ownership and will be responsible for development.

Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 40-06 68^th Street, in Woodside, Queens. The site is a block away from the 69^th Street Fisk Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the 7 train, and six blocks away from the 65^th Street Station, serviced by the E, M, and R trains. Tim Chan will be responsible for the development.

Permits Filed for 179 4th Avenue, Park Slope, Brooklyn

Permits have been filed for an 11-story mixed-use building at 179 4^th Avenue, on the border of Park Slope and Gowanus, in Brooklyn. The site is just two blocks away from the Union Street Subway Station, serviced by the D and R trains. The Whole Foods Market right on the Gowanus Canal is also nine blocks away. Vanguard Investors will be responsible for the development.

Permits Filed for Expansion of Studio Museum in Harlem, 144 West 125th Street

Permits have been filed for a six-story building at 144 West 125th Street, in Harlem, Manhattan. The new structure will add to the Studio Museum in Harlem, an international center for contemporary artists of African descent. In September the institution announced a $175 million capital campaign to help fund construction, and the development will be a private-public initiative in partnership with the City of New York.

Permits Filed for High-Rise at 61 DeKalb Avenue, Downtown Brooklyn

A new high-rise could be coming right next to the future supertall at 9 DeKalb Avenue. Permits have been filed for a 34-story residential building and parking garage at 61 DeKalb Avenue, on Long Island University’s campus in Downtown Brooklyn. The site is just a handful of blocks away from the A, B, C, D, G, Q, R, 2 3, 4, and 5 train, giving it near-immediate access to the rest of the city. Also in the neighborhood is NYU’s growing Brooklyn campus. LIU will be responsible for development.

Renderings have been revealed for the Beam Architects-designed 1205 Broadway, in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The exposed-bolt industrialist exterior plays at the building’s context of being across from the aboveground subway tracks.

Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 68 North Henry Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The site is half a block from Greenpoint’s Southeast border with Williamsburg, along the Brooklyn Queens Expressway. Builder Moshe Katlowitz will be responsible for the development, and today, YIMBY also has the first rendering for the project.

The site is one avenue away from the 116^th Street Subway Station on Malcolm X Boulevard, serviced by the 2 and 3 trains, and three blocks away from the 116^th Street Subway Station on Lexington Avenue, serviced by the 4 and 6 trains. Central Park’s northeast corner is six blocks south, and Azimuth Development Group will be responsible for the development.

The site is three blocks away from the 174^th Street Subway Station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains, and ten blocks away from the Whitlock Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the 6 train.
