Demolition Complete for 19-Story Hotel at 103 East 29th Street in NoMad, Manhattan

Demolition is complete at 103 East 29th Street, the site of a proposed 19-story hotel in NoMad, Manhattan. Designed by Arkan Zeytinoglu Architects and developed by Frank Savino, the project will yield 120 rooms and replace the Hotel Deauville, which had stood the 45-foot-wide plot for nearly 120 years. Auevilla Holdings is the owner and All Dimensions Construction was the demolition contractor for the property, which is located between Park Avenue South and Lexington Avenue.

Construction is continuing to rise on 262 Fifth Avenue, a 54-story residential skyscraper in NoMad, Manhattan. Designed by Meganom with SLCE Architects as the executive architect and developed by Boris Kuzinez of Five Points Development under the Five Points 262 Project LLC, the 860-foot-tall structure will yield 41 condominium units. WSP is the structural and M.E.P. engineer and CM & Associates Construction Management is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the southwest corner of Fifth Avenue and West 29th Street.

550 Tenth Avenue Rises Above Street Level, in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan

Construction on 550 Tenth Avenue is quickly unfolding as the first floor of the 47-story residential skyscraper takes shape in Hell’s Kitchen. Designed by Handel Architects and developed by Gotham Organization and Goldman Sachs Asset Management JV, the ground-up 520-foot-tall reinforced concrete superstructure will span 430,000 square feet and yield a total of 453 rental units, with 137 residences for moderate and middle incomes, as well as 9,000 square feet of commercial retail space, over 20,000 square feet of residential amenities, and 26,764 square feet of administrative office space for Covenant House. GO Covenant LLC is the owner and Monadnock Construction is the general contractor for the Midtown, Manhattan property, which is located along Tenth Avenue between West 40th and 41st Streets.
