Exterior work is nearing completion on Charlotte of The Upper West Side, a nine-story residential building at 470 Columbus Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by BKSK Architects and developed by The Roe Corporation, the structure was engineered to Passive House standards and will yield seven full-floor condominium units with interiors by Alyssa Kapito Interiors and BKSK. Compass is handling sales and marketing for the property, which is located between West 82nd and 83rd Streets, just north of the American Museum of Natural History.

Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Lalezarian Properties under the Third and Thirty Four LLC, and Kahen Properties. The 386-foot-tall structure will yield 166,917 square feet with 229 residential units, most likely rentals with an average scope of 692 square feet each, as well as 8,253 square feet of commercial space and a 30-foot-long yard. The property is located at the corner of Third Avenue and East 34th Street.

Demolition is complete at 111 Willoughby Street, the site of a 40-story residential tower in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by GF55 Architects and developed by The Michaels Organization, Triangle Equities, and Geolo Capital, the 437-foot-tall structure will yield 205,000 square feet with 227 rental units, a 20,000-square-foot ministry center for the St. Boniface parish, and 1,814 square feet of commercial space. ZDG is the general contractor for the property, which is located by the intersection of Willoughby Street to the south and Duffield Street to the east.

Exterior work is wrapping up on The Hendrix, a 41-story residential tower at 331 Marin Boulevard in downtown Jersey City‘s Powerhouse Arts District. Designed by Marchetto Higgins Stieve and developed by The Albanese Group, the 400-foot-tall structure will yield 482 units, 121 parking spaces, a 125-seat theater, and 14,000 square feet of amenities. Hatfield Group is the façade consultant for the project, which is alternately addressed as 184 Morgan Street and is bound by Marin Boulevard to the east, Morgan Street to the south, Grove Street to the west, and Bay Street to the north.

611 West 56th Street Wraps Up Construction in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan

Exterior work is complete on 611 West 56th Street, a 35-story residential tower in Hell’s Kitchen. Designed by Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza with SLCE as the architect of record and developed by Sumaida + Khurana and LENY, the 450-foot-tall structure will yield 77 units with interiors designed by Gabellini Sheppard Associates. Homes come in one- to four-bedroom layouts, as well as duplex “maisonettes,” full-floor homes, and a grand penthouse. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is handling sales and marketing for the property, which is alternately addressed as 823 Eleventh Avenue and is located at the corner of West 56th Street and Eleventh Avenue.
